Enabling TRIM on SSD

Would it be advised to enable TRIM on SSD? Wouldn't it be better to disable TRIM and allow the SSD to completely erase deleted/uninstalled data so its fresh. I just thought enabling TRIM would also be a security concern as if the hard drive ever fails, people might be able to extract information out of it.

TRIM helps clean up the flash cells when data is removed. It's highly recommended.
On a new drive that supports it and with a clean install of 7, it will automatically be enabled.
Could check it to make sure tho.
