Encoding text on a webpage

Hi,

I have a website and use microsoft frontpage to design it (basic i know), i am currently using text's which i have downloaded, for this site, but others are unable to view these text as they just apear as times new roman font (as they dont have these fonts downloaded). Is there away to encode these texts or a way to make them an image rather than a text so every one can view the fonts which i have put on the site rather than them viewing it plain old simple times new roman.

Cheers

Harrison

i believe there is a way to include the font with the web pages, as in upload the font file to the server aswe,, but how you would tell visitors to gain font data from that file instead of their own hard drive i dont know, but it can be done.

are you using this font for lots of tect, or just like a title> if it's just a title then convert it to an image file, but if it's text change it to a standard font like arial or times new roman, as most of the time it can look tacky, and the whole point of having standard fonts such as arial or times new roman is that everyone can view them

Its for all fonts on the site. I did have a simple font on the website but i wanted to progress to a better standard sit and one of the major ways of doing this is by using different fonts.

if its the whole site, these are really helpful.

like you, I also use frontpage, and i design my whole page through photoshop, so my whole page is basically several images peiced together. i just find it easier that way.

or if u want, you can just convert the whole paragraph or so into a picture. ;) good luck
