Energy Efficiant Build. Ideas Welcome

Hello everyone. This is my first post here so patience is appreciated. I have a few questions on my new build.

I am building a computer from scratch after my laptop died. It is intended to be used for light gaming (Starcraft2), Home office stuff, and to watch movies. If I can find a way to plug a guitar into it eventually that would be cool too. I would like if it were as energy efficient as possible on my limited budget.

I ordered the MOBO, PSU, case, and DVD combo drive already.

The DVD drive and the PSU weren't on the compatability list at MSI's website:

I will eventually add a video card but I've never been good at picking those.
I am wondering if there is anything I missed compatibility wise. I am looking into using a home theater projector, or something similar, to save on electricity. Think green. Thanks everyone.

So am I to understand that this post doesn't even deserve a response?

I should have mentioned that I've never built a computer before, and I would really appreciate some input. I have replaced drives, ram, and other stuff. All I know about this is from research online. No actual experience.

I bought these components because they were on sale, just like everyone else. I'm starting from this, unless I messed up.

I would like if it would be quick when I need it to be, but not to use very much electricity when I don't need speed or fancy graphics.

Also I will get another 2 TB drive later maybe, and a Blu-ray if I win the lotto.
