Enough power to over clock?

Hey people i have a 630w power supply and i was wondering if this was enough to oc with? Thanks for any help.

i don't know about Rosewill's reputation for serious overclock... but if you're asking whether or not you'll be able to get something out of it... my guess is yes

you might have difficulty if you had say a 300w PS.... or if you had 6 HDs running maybe.

Thanks Bdaggit i'm not goin to oc right away. Also my case i'm gettin has 2 fans. . Is that enough? As far as cooling goes

extra case fans couldn't hurt. more importantly do you have a good after market cooler on your CPU? if you're planning on OCing your GPU does that have a good cooler on it too?

Yeah, that rosewill is a very nice psu for the price and you should be able to get a decent overclock as long as you are running a decent cooler, and even if on stock cooler you should be able to get 4-500 mhz.

Its alright tlt. . And is thermal paste ok foR the cpu? I know thermal paste is used on the cpu but is thermal paste good enough for oc'ing or would you suggest fans

I know you have an AMD but as an indication my Core Duo is mildly clocked from 2.66 Ghz to 3.2 Ghz on a stock cooler. It does rise a little too much if running anything intensive but is still well under the max.

Thermal paste is always needed, regardless of your cooling solution.

I would put as many fans in your case as will fit.

Apollo cases are very quiet and keeps my system very cool-I use the Arctic Cooling 64 HSF-I've never had an overheating issue and I run it overclocked at 3.1 Ghz all the time.
