I've got 2x 256 and 1x 128 mb memory i run a compaq deskpro EN with a lot of upgrades, cards, video card, drive, etc. I just do email, web, AIM, little video editing. is the 640MB enough?

That amount of ram will most likely do the job unless you do heavy video editing

Yes for XP, 2K, 98, ect...

No for Vista.

vista? im at 560MB right now, antivirus, firefox, and WMP open, im pretty sure i could edit a video with under 120MB of ram so i would say even vista would be ok lol
