Entering BIOS

Hi,

I know this should be really simple, but I'm having trouble entering BIOS on my Linux box. When I turn the computer on, I receive the following BIOS screen:

I have tried all the commands, but none of them seem to enter the BIOS. I have also tried using common BIOS commands, such as INS, F10, and F2, but none of those work either. My motherboard is ASUS Z8PE-D12.

Thanks in advance!

The delete key or F4 are what you need to press. I assume you did, so most likely your keyboard is not being recognized at this stage. Is your keyboard USB 3.0, 2.0, or PS2? Do you have a PS2 port and keyboard you can test to see if allows you to enter the BIOS?

I have tried pressing DEL and F4, and that puts me into a setup menu, but not the BIOS menu. When I do that, I just get options to change for setup, such as changing the time the setup menu will be present during bootup.

Enter the bios by pressing the Del key. Can you post what the screen looks like when you press the del key?

I found it. I was pressing CTRL+S because the setup menu came up, but if I just let the system run the BIOS pops up.

Thank you for the help!
