Entertaining Call to Verizon

So my dsl light was blinking again the other day (really common with customers in my area for us to lose dsl lock) and so i called them to try to see if there is anything that could be done as i'll be taking online courses soon and internet outages will therefor be all the more agrivating. So anyway i was explaining this to the very foreign technician and she kept telling me i needed to focus on getting the dsl light solid. That that was my first priority, now i was rather confused. I asked what she meant and she just said to focus on getting the light solid. Therefor i can conclude that perhaps i just don't have enough mental power to keep my dsl light solid. Maybe i should work on clearing my mind so i can "focus" better and think at my modem harder. Gotta love good old foreign tech support.

My DSL goes out rarely, its been happening a little more often, at night and stuff.

I just restart the router, and usually it fixes itself.

I have AT&T.

lol, focus, grasshopper!
yeah, I hate calling tech support (I have Verizon DSL as well) I had to call a few times 'cause they put my service on "Vacation mode" a while back....that was not fun.

yeah, restarting the modem gets old. Another favorite is when i get on and check (via the settings page within the modem) only to find that i'm connected at a whopping 32kbps

She's right. You need to focus on getting the DSL light solid. It's some super natural power that not all of us have.

That comedy show on the radio says it best: Sprint/Nextel cut off all those customers because they were complaining too much. Then they sent them to Verizon so the complaints wouldn't go through.

^ So adding that to my sig.

hahaha man that made me laugh

It's always fun to attempt to translate what the forgein people are saying. My college algebra teacher is from South Africa, and can't speak english very well; so imagine how that class is going. I'm glad that I know enough about computers and such that I don't have to call Dell anymore...that got old real quick.
