Hi there. Maybe someone can help? I have just installed new genuine cartridges, and they worked fine in my CX5400 for a couple of pages. Then the cyan stopped working. Now none of the colours print, only blank pages. I noted on the net that a common fault of this printer is that a small tube sometimes becomes detached during cartridge replacement. I have dismantled the printer and checked this and it is OK. I read that another common fault is that the heads become clogged. I ordered a repair ‘kit’ from 'fix-you-own-printer.com' (cleaning fluid & syringe), this I have used and the fluid pours out of the print-head, onto kitchen roll - so obviously no problem here. The ‘ink-monitor’ clearly recognised my new cartridges and showed 100% level when initially installed. Now the level is approx 60% due to all the testing, and I have only 2 pages of print to show. I have attempted dozens of nozzle-checks and head-cleans – enough to use 40% of the ink anyway…No luck with ANY printing, and I’m not sure where the ink has actually gone! Any ideas appreciated??
