Ergonomic Mouse & Hand Pain

Hi. Anyone have any ergonomic mouse recommendations ? My wife is experiencing hand pain as a result of using a mouse all day at work. At my suggestion, she started using the other hand for the mouse, and that hand started to hurt. Thanks, George

I suggest going to a store like bestbuy and have her put her hands on it. the factor is always associated with the design and size. and not all are comfortable. they have plenty to choose from. whats right for one person may not and likely be right for her.

Its a tad expensive, and its a gaming mouse too, but the Razer Deathadder is the most comfortable mouse I have ever held. It just countours to the shape of the hand.

I would also recommend a mouse hand rest. Its a small either cushion that sits below your wirst when its on the mouse. My dad uses one.

Most likely issue is carpal tunnel syndrome. Can get really bad if left untreated.

My father works in a flour/wheat mill and that involves grabbing lots of tools, levers, etc., and he had carpal tunnel in both hands. Carpal tunnel surgery uses such a small incision that you can barely see it in the scar. It's about the size of a pen-point.

I like the Logitech Anywhere MX mouse, it is small and easy to grip. Sits low with minimal wrist strain, speaking for me.

Got rid of larger mice. I have a similar thing happening on and off with my right hand.

If you are interested, walmart has them now for $35 which is truly a great price (may have to do online, don't know).

Have never seen it so low.
