Error code 10

In vista I keep getting error code 10 this device cannot start.
I've try'd letting vista install drivers, I've tried every ati driver possible.
Nothing.
Is there still a problem with ati drivers and vista?
My cards the 4850.
 
Take a look in the device manager under display adapters and see if the card is listed there. Sometimes you have to wait for an update to come before seeing one Cat. version that will go right on without any problems.

I've been seeing a similar problem with an addon tv tuner card recently where the "no drivers installed for this device" message is displayed while the installation appears normal. The available MS information on this particular error code shows:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Device failed to start. Click Update Driverto update the drivers for this device.
On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooting wizard.

Thanks man I'll try that I've had it happen before and it fixed itself this time it gave me bsod's. I'm using xp again to finish a paper then I'll play around with it.
