Trying to update my computer using windows update . It say I have 2 updates that failed:
Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB2847927)

Installation date: ‎8/‎26/‎2013 2:58 PM

Installation status: Failed

Error details: Code 80070005

Definition Update for Windows Defender - KB915597 (Definition 1.157.217.0)

Installation date: ‎8/‎26/‎2013 2:57 PM

Installation status: Failed

Error details: Code 8007051A

Any suggestions?

Are you using an account that has administrator privileges?

No this is just my home computer.

lol, I understand that. But my question was.. The account you are using, is it set for adminstrator? Look in control panel under user accounts and see if it lists administrator account under your name.

yes it is an account with admin privlages

The next step would be to scan your system for malware using malwarebytes.

I have run malaware it didn't find anything. Ran avast full scan nothing.

Is the windows update service running in msconfig ?
