Hi All,
I've been having a problem recently with one of my PC's (well, a few, but thisis *really* bugging me...)
Everytime I try to open a folder on the desktop, or anything on the hard drive from windows normally (ie double click on desktop ones, via my computer etc for the others) I get an error message with the following error signature:
App Name: explorer.exe
AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106
ModName: msvcrt.dll
ModVer: 7.0.2600.1106
Offset: 00033ec0.
and it won't open the item. I can get to things from the command prompt, and by browsing using the run command, as well as the traditional File/Open prompt.
I'm running Windows XP Home, SP1. I tried a repair install to no avail (except a blister on my finger after typing in the codes!) and it still does it. Any Ideas??
