Error Message Help.

I hope that I have this in the right area.

I have attached a screen shot of an error message that I get, when attempting to drag & drop a music folder from my desktop to my external hard drive. There are times when I am able to move folders between the two units - without issue. And then there are other times (like now) when this error message surfaces, and I don't know how to counter the problem.

'Would appreciate help with this.

Hi John.

The music folder in question is just 76.1 MB, but I have often experienced the same problem with data folders that were much smaller than that.

Fat format? I have no clue. All I know is that my external hard drive is a 1-TB Western Digital 'My Book' unit, and that it only sometimes accept file/folder dropping.
