I keep getting this error when trying to install something, any ideas?

If you search google, you'll find a few people asking the same question with almost no solutions. Honestly I'm not too sure myself, but I'm thinking it may have something to do with Vista. Have you tried another version of the software? How about running it in compatibility mode?
