Error Message

I am installing windows for the first time and i keep getting a blue screen and it says:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

and it also says:

***STOP: 0x0000000A (0x00000000, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x8051E106)

Please help me. what does this mean.

But it's new ocz ram. how could it be fried already? what do i do??

change the slot the ram is in.

Deffinitly looks like a ram problem.

first reverse the ram...meaning put the ram from slot 1 in slot 2 and the ram from slot 2 in slot 1. if this doesnt work, try new slots.

never mind, i think it is the ram. do you think the ram is broken or what?

try taking the ram out, and then cleaning the slots.

i switched the ram in slot 4 to slot 2 and the ram in slot 2 to slot 4 and now im running memtest as we speak. memtest takes forever!

If your not upgrading and this problem has occured then it seems that you need to clean the slots. Just get one of those canisters with compress air. That ought to rid the slots of any unwanted dust.
