Hello,
First time user and not the most computer literate guy in the world!
I appear to have picked up some fake scanning software called ErrorRepair Tool. I've since looked into it, and it appears to be an alarmist program that scans your system, tells you you've lots of nasties, and then tries to flog you a solution.
When I try to Uninstall it, a pop-up tells me that I need to allow an unidentified party access to my computer (it seems, if I click "more info", that it's the source of the malware).
I've downloaded the various scans suggested by for new users, and the Malwarebyte results are posted below.
I would be grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction to offload this!.
Many thanks
G
