Error with Hardware or no?

I just put together a new computer and I am having issues loading the OS. I am loading WinXP and after the standard setup file copying, it does the automatic reboot. After the logo spash screen, it goes to the blue screen that says "Setup is being restarted......" and stays there forever. Google searches of this problem all have people describing a loop where it restarts by itself and hangs here again and again. Since my comp does not even do that, I decided to post it as a fresh problem. Anyone know what is going on?

That sounds like a fairly common SATA driver issue. Try using some other drivers or see if you can set your bios to IDE mode/disable AHCI.

Im going to try reinstalling it again to see if it was just a one-time fluke or not. Hpefully things work themselves out with the second install.
