i'm looking for a home for my recently purchased EVGA 780i which advertises the Enthusiast System Architecture compatibility. i know it's new but has anyone gotten to test this out? does it look like it will catch on to the mass market?

only reason why i ask is the coolermaster cosmos 1010 is soldout everywhere and i'm wondering if it's worth the wait.

You plan on running three GPUs in tri SLI? Otherwise, the 780i isnt recommended due to the price.

that wasn't what i was asking about but i just might use 3 GPUs.

I know that is not what you asked but I am trying to make you consider other things, the 780i is very expensive. I think the MB will do well on the market, knowing the 680i does not support the new 45nm processors from Intel. If you want the recent technology to run SLI with, you have to go 780i. I think nVidia saw the upgrade by intel coming, and did this intentionally.

well, i'm building now so i wanted PCI 2.0, Quad core and SLI. the ESA was just something i wasn't sure about. thou i am considering the ASUS P5N-D 750i as an alternative.
