Ethernet Cable Issues

Hello, I am having an issue connecting to the Internet when using an Ethernet cable. Prior to this, I was always able to connect using Ethernet. Now I get the yellow triangle with an exclamation mark when I use the Ethernet cable. I am able to connect using Wi-fi, although I would have inconsistent ping, causing me to be unable to play games such as LoL. They keep telling me that it is identifying network.

Lastly, I would also like to mention that if I plug in the Ethernet cable while it cannot be identified for too long, my router will also suddenly be unable to use Wi-Fi for everyone in the house till I reboot the router.
 
You aren't pulling an IP address. Have you tried some simple steps first such as trying a new cable, using a different port on your router and/or PC, or using a different computer?
 
It sounds like there could be an issue with the router. It shouldn't freeze up or otherwise stop providing service for wireless just by plugging a cable into one of the LAN ports.
