My ethernet card is acting up. Sometimes it halts boot up and just keeps displaying the same message over and over again until I restart it manually and then its fine. Whats going on?? I have a Vista 32 bit laptop Acer and my device manager looks like the attached but it says the drivers are all up to date which is weird.

Do you have the drivers from microsoft or from the manufacturer for it? I would try the other driver-the one you dont have-with it.

Not sure. I disabled the yellow triangle items in my device manager due to several posts I found across the internet. Everything is slow on here but thats because this computer was bought around the time vista came out and they didn't know at the time that you need like 8 gigs of ram to vista properly. I will check back if the boot up gets halted any further as that could be something else.
