Ethernet Controller software problem ?

From last few days , i am having problem with Ethernet controller software , suddenly the local area network icon disappears , then i have trouble using internet.

But after restarting system few times , i see the icon , what's happening with my system?

Any suggestions would be helpful !

Could be bad cable, bad ethernet card. Might want to try updating the drivers first.
