Yes. Computer components are the same no matter where you buy them. The only thing you might watch out for would be the power supply. Any decent power supply will have a setting for both Europe and US, but a PSU bought from Europe will probably be set in the 220V setting by default and you'll need to switch it before use so you won't fry it and your other components.

What I want to know though is why? I have yet to see a computer component that is cheaper in Europe.

my brother works at some store that he can get them cheaper for some reason, so I was thinking he could send me a 8800

yes, as long as you flip the red switch on the back to the us one and then plug in a US style cable....i pretty sure that should work.

yes, it will work. Just make sure you have the right slot for it (PCI-E)

And make sure your PSU have enough power
