Ever since updating my desktop this website stopped working

I have a Dell desktop and ever since I updated to windows 7 from xp the audio preview links on this music website I go to don't work. Any idea why this might be? They still play music when I click them on my iPhone. Here is the site, I tried adding it to "exclusions" in Avast but no luck.

www.newjams.net/songs

They don't work for me either, but the problem is... Avast has blocked the website because of being malicious. So its basically a bad website.

Could be your antivirus program blocking it like mine does. I wouldn't keep using that site if my Avast blocked it.

Yeah good point, damn it's my number one resource for new music. Why do you suppose my iPhone allows me to use it, wouldn't it pose the same risk?

Just tried on my phone and it plays music fine. So we can assume it's the Antivirus program that is stopping access to the site. Maybe you can create an exception for that website.

Yup I found that by disabling web protection in avast it works. Is that safe to do temporarily for 30 min at a time while browsing that?

The site looks OK. Seems like only Avast doesn't like it - Trend isn't blocking it for me and nor is Web of Trust and looking on the Web of Trust scorecard the only guy who gave it a bad rating was somebody who used Avast.

So yeah disabling web protection to browse the site will be fine but keep full protection enabled. You might be able to add the site as an exception to Avast so that it doesn't block it.

I added it as an exclusion, didn't seem to do anything
