are these any good? my girlfriend wants a cheap laptop thats durrable. just something she can get on messenger with and get on the internet. and dell isnt an option. with past issues with them ive learnt. plus she has laptop memory that im giving her for it if she gets it. just let me know what you guys think about it. thanks a ton

1, What is your budget?

2, Personally I find Dell laptops to be excellent, I dont know what bad experiences you have had

3, Try HP laptops, I have never heard of Everex.

alrighty. shes getting a compaq presario v2615us instead. but dell just wasnt good at the time i got my laptop from them. i was very careful with it but the power cord shorted out, then the motherboard messed up and wasnt able to be fixed. and when i sent it in the had it for 3 weeks and never even looked at it until i called and asked what was going on. and ALL the people i talked to i couldnt understand because of their accent. and THEN after all that got settled. turns out they used refubished parts on it and my refubished hard drive had to be replaced 3 times. and my screen ribbon creased and had to be replaced. and that was all under the one year waranty i got with it. now my hard drive went bad yet again and its not under waranty so i just bought a desktop and called it quits with dell. but im thinking about replacing the hard drive and using it for small tasks every now and then.
