Evesham Computers Versus Mesh Computers

Can't decide whether to buy a Axis Decimator Plus from Evesham or to go for the X-treme R1000 (01) from Mesh. Both have 2x 256MB nVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX video cards, 2048MB DDR400 Memory and Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music Sound Cards.

The Mesh one works out a wee bit more expensive but then again the HD is 1200GB compared to 640GB that the Decimator has. Everything else is about the same.

Also what's the best processor to go for the AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual-Core 4800 or the AMD Athlon™ 64 FX-57.

Any advice would be greatly received. Both come with 3 yrs on site warranty.

i would say that either one will give you outstanding performance. but i think that the x2 would be more "future proof" but no one can say for sure.

Funny you say the x2 one coz that's the cheaper option. Why could that one be more "future proof"?

OMG and now i've come across the Scan website, one can do too much looking around. Now my heads getting scrambled.

yeah, i figured that the x2 was the chaper option because if you buy the processors by themselves, it is cheaper than the fx57.

supposedly, future games will be multithreaded, but it will be hard to say when they will all be multithreaded. obviously a dual core processor will run multithreaded application better than a single core but the fx57 is a good processor as well. either one of them should do a good job at gaming though.

if i were choosing i would go with the x2, but thats just opinion

if you think you could build one, i would suggest that because you will probably save some money on a system that powerful.
