I'm updating my system and which card should I use? These are the 2 I have,

-EVGA 6200 256 MB DDR PCI
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3586416&CatId=1560
or

-GeForce MX420 64 MB AGP

?

I ask b/c I wonder about the PCI vs AGP, but I would think the EVGA 6200 is much more powerful? It will be installed on a P4VSA Soyo PIV 1.6 Ghz board / CPU w/ 1.25 gb RAM .any advice thank you.

Both are ancient....what do you intend to play?...

You need either of those depending what your motherboard takes.

What is your motheboard? Full system specs?

I know they are dinosaurs.. lmao. But they are what I currently have. It will not be for gaming, I'm just interested in what is the best choice.

Hell, my new PIV 1.6 Ghz blows away the PIII 766 Mhz.. that is where I am coming from to let you know.. just web browsing.. NO GAMING.

If your system is just for the usual web browsing then i cant realy understand why you would want to upgrade your video card.

The 6200 is the more powerfull of those cards,BUT one is PCI and the other is AGP....

The motherboard has both AGP and PCI slots. But I'm swapping a current system I have and moving parts around. These are the 2 cards I have. So, I'm really just updating an old system with an older system.

Which one would be the best out of the two? Since this is all I have. thank you for input.
