Problem, I have recently put into my computer the evga 7900 gt co superclock and for some odd reason when I go to stand by through my windows XP when I move the mouse or do anyting that would bring my computer back from stand by the computer kicks on and sounds as if its running just fine yet the monitor acts as if it is not hooked up to anything. Any ideas as to why that would do that? I used to have a 6600 gt in my comp and i never had this problem before...if that means anything at all.

I doubt it's the power supply. It's 500 watts and brand new.
Wattage doesnt mean much if the 12v Rail is poor. But the PSU does have a fairly good 1v rail. However, the PSU could just be faulty.
