eVGA 7900 GTX

Hey guys. I'm new at these forums, and I'm new at building PC's. I have just purchased the eVGA 7900 GTX video card for my new PC and installed it. I'd like to know a few things about the cables that came with it. Such as where the hell do they plug in. It seems for me I've had more trouble connecting the external parts than the internal parts lol. If you look at the pictures of the cables at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814130279. There's one picture of the all the cables, and the second and fourth cables are the ones I'd like to know about. I also purchased a Viewsonic 19'' 3ms LCD monitor. It too comes with a cable I don't know what to do with. The cable for the monitor I don't know what to do with is not the one that plugs into the video card. Thanks.
Scott

The only cable you need to worry about is the power cable, which plugs into the molex (4 pin) power plugs that come out of your motherboard, and go into your video card. As for your monitor, it sounds like it's VGA. There should be an adapter that lets you convert the white DVI ports to blue VGA ports.

The second cable is a S-Video cable which allows you to hook up your computer to your tv (or other device) have have what is on your monitor appear on your screen. The fourth cable looks like a S-video to HD cable. Neither are really anything you need to worry about as far as installing your video card goes.

Ok so I don't need to worry about any of the cables that came with my video card. And I only need to plug the cable from my monitor to my video card.
Is that correct? Thanks.
Scott.

You also need to worry about the power cord for your video card (third cable in picture). The black end will plug into your video card and the white end will plug into a cord coming out of your power supply.

Yea, I already plugged that black 4 pin into the video card, and then plugged to molex's into the white ones. I was just making sure about the external cables. Thanks. I'm gonna test it out here in a few minutes.
Scott.
