I just got a computer with a 7900GT (2 actually, but I'm worried about this before I even think about going SLI) and I can't get the damn thing to work with Vista... At all... I've updated, gotten the new drivers, everything... When I open any game the screen goes orange and does weird stuff and it's even bugging out when I open Internet explorer now.... Has anyone had this problem and know what drivers to install and what not to??? It seems like the newer stuff I get the worse it gets....

I'm about to say screw it and buy XP pro again.... (anyone know where I can get XP pro for cheap?)

And dont' ask why I got Vista... Cause I don't know... lol.... I'm and idiot and it was cheap.

I had that same question about compatability when I was deciding on
the OS for a new build. I have a 7900GS card.
I am glad that I checked (at Fry's) the Mobo's
box on display there that said "designed for WinXP" and that pretty much
answered my question. I hear that there are some compatibility issues with
drivers. I wanted to get Vista only because my other computer which still fairly
new already has XP and I wanted to try something different. Sorry I am no
help to your dilemna though. I hope some people chime in so I can see if this
card will work down the line if I should ever upgrade the Motherboard.
