Evga 8800 512 Gt

Hi there guys i'm thinking of upgrading my pc and have been looking for grpahics cards and a new motherboard/processor bundle and i have come across:

I would like to know what would be a good motherboard/processor bundle to get,

Need a few IDE ports for 2 cd drives and a hardrive
Non micro-ATX i have an ATX case

You should get this motherboard ASUS P5K DELUXE it's about $180.00 USD
It only has one IDE connector but there are IDE cables that have two connectors in one cable for two drives.As for the Video Card you should get The EVGA Super clocked 8800Gt 650mhz clock speed compare to the 600MHZ standard 8800gt.Now to to the CPU You should get either the Core 2 Quad Q6600,or the Core 2 duo E8400.The Q6600 is around $210USD and the E8400 is around $180USD.It all depends on you Do you game more or do you run applications more?The quad core is much better on encoding videos extracting files etc... and the core 2 duo e 8400 is better on gaming! You will get more FPS on games than the q6600 but both CPUs are good on games and running multiple applications just that they quad core is better on apps and the core 2 duo is btter on games.You decide.I hope this helps you!

which will be better in three years? an ancient dual core or a slow quad core? you decide, but four cores is better then two if you like saving lots money in the long run.
