My friend and I both purchased 8800GT's, I got mine when they first came out, and my friend got his just a few days ago. Both are from EVGA, Non-Overclocked 512MB models.
I brought mine over to his house so that we could try out SLI, and I was surprised to find that his card looked different than mine. I would expect minor changes like this if the card had been out for a few years...but not months.
His has a bigger fan, slightly different colors, and a few other changes. Anyways here are pics[thumbnails] :
As you can tell after you've viewed the larger picture, his is slightly different, and does in-fact cool better than mine. His was 5-7C cooler than mine (at stock speeds).
*EDIT* Oh, and the golf pictures in the 3rd picture are my dads...haha.
