EVGA GTX 260 or 2 x 8800GTS 640

I have a choice in EVGA GTX 260 896mb or TWO evga 8800 gts's 640mb and run 8800 in sli. What should i get?

I wouldn't waste my time on the old 640 cards, I would just opt for one GTX260, then you can SLI later when need be.

Yea, if you're really planning to get the two 8800GTS, go for the 512mb versions, it has a newer core so it's faster overall.

Sorry i should have said i already own 2 8800 gts 640mb. I was thinking on selling these 2 and buying a single 260. Is it an upgrade or downgrade since im going from SLI to single
