Well they should have waited for teh 4870

Everybody knows that when there is competition, you wait and see (Prices have dropped a lot since the release of the 4870, cause NVidia need to keep up)

but i would still go for a 4870, lower W PSU needed, cheaper, can keep intel mobo

etc
 
Some people just have to have products on the very day they are released,regardless. (ie... look at the I Phone for example ). Also considering that they have dropped it 2 days in a row allreadyI am thinking they might drop it below $400 before too long.almost half what people who bought it 1st day paid for it.

But what about the PPL that got BFG and other manufaturers...

$350 would be an OK Price, but as i said before, the ATI 4870 requires less power, and gets just a few frames less. And you can keep your intel motherboard.

That means that more ppl will want it cause of this. But PPL have been brainwashed this last GFX season (with the 8800 series) that NVidia is the best and nothing is better.

ATI has really pulled this one off...
 
Well I am glad at least XFX and Evga are showing some sympathy for their customers.If Bfg doesnt follow suit and refund some money to their customers I wouldnt feel like buying a card from them in the future as I would feel like if something was wrong they wouldnt support me.Their cards tend to be the higher priced ones anyways ,so I am sure they are making a big profit
