EVGA Z97 Classified MOBO Question

My new MOBO just arrived and I noticed it does not have a 1394a connector for a FireWire output. This is only an issue because my CoolerMaster HAF-X case has a FireWire port in the front - is there anyway I can buy an adapter or something to plug that front FireWire port into the MOBO? Other than that it's an AWESOME board. What are your peeps thoughts? Should I just go buy an ASUS instead?

Thanks!

That's also what I was thinking - I will probably NEVER use it and I have no idea why coolermaster even put it on there - it just makes my OCD go crazy knowing that one port isn't plugged in lol

Other than that in your opinion is that a solid MOBO?

If you never use it, who cares.

There are some firewire add-in cards that have the 9 pin header on them.

You should be able to unplug the 1394 connector from the case to remove unnecessary cables. i know I did that with my case.
