Unfortunately the best response would be to suggest you to dig out your backup copies. Presumably you don't have any.
There are a number of guides available. The wikiHow guide is quite extensive and refers also to Microsoft's links and payware. Some of the steps are unnecessary depending on what is in the files (VBA, Add-ins). It is kept reasonably up-to-date.
