Excel files menu tab freeze.

hi,

I have encounter the strange occurrence of excel files. When I open some of the files.....the menu tabbed eventually freeze. when i close it and reopen the files again and its ok already. I am using windows office 2007.

May I know what is the issue? Can someone help please?

Solution i have try are:

1) delete and reinstall the microsoft excel but it still happens.

Have you tried updating Microsoft Office? There might be a patch that fixes it.

Also try installing Office 2007 SP3: http://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=27838
