Excel problem

I set up a very basic spreadsheet in Excel 2003 to track how much formula my daughter drinks. Basically, I enter the amounts on a daily basis and have Excel calculate a sum and then a percentage. Everything was working fine until just the other day. Now none of the formulas work right away. I enter the data and then have to re-do the sum and the percentage calculation. I'm not changing anything that was in the cells, it just doesn't do the computations until I re-enter the formulas. Any idea what could have caused this? Any idea how to fix it other than re-creating the spreadsheet?

Try creating a new document and pasting all of your information into it.

Then, save it.

That should help.

I haven't really noticed if it's doing the same thing in other files. I really don't have that many with formulas.

I will try copying and pasting to a new document. I tried it within the same worksheet and that did not fix anything, but I did verify that formulas were working on a completely new document.
