Excel worksheets as e-mail attachment

Up to July of this year, my daughter has been e-mailing me a monthly worksheet with no problem. Starting with the August one, the attachment arrives as 0 KB, and of course cannot open. I worked on her computer today and could not send even worksheets that had been sent prior to August. Her computer has Vista, Office Home and Student 2007, using sympatico e-mail. We even tried sending one to her e-mail address and it arrived as a blank file.
Has anyone had a similar problem. I wondered if the update to Office 2007 in July might by causing this?

Try sending the attachment through a different email client... you could just use GMail or something. If it works, then Sympatico is the problem. I have never used (or heard of) Sympatico, but it could be that it is not transferring the file for some reason... maybe it is mistaking it for a malware file.

Thanks, we will try this with the October report. Sympatico is a Canadian ISP operated by Bell Canada. We will try using Hotmail or Yahoo and see if the report comes.

Just send an old report or something and at least see it works and then you can have the problem fixed quickly and not having to wait....
