Excesive Dowloading

I have a dail system up and i seem to be downloading all the time even when i dont have anything running,or open, Its eating up my download limit, If anyone can help me with this problem i'd be very thankfull, Ive had it to the shop and he cant find anything wrong and my virus program says its all clear....HELP

Sorry but i dont know what a torrent is, as far as i know i'm not running anything

Well if you don't know what one is then I doubt your running one.
