EXE files Windows 7

Good afternoon!

I have here the following situation:

I've tried today many times to open many EXE files on this computer but i just can't! To be more precise, whenever I try to open a program (an EXE file) it opens with another program - nero photo snap viewer - wich makes it impossible to open the actual program that I want.

The fact is that someone messed with the "open with" function and put all EXE files opening with a preset program. Furthermore, the function that enables to open the same type of file with the same chosen program was activated and it can't be disabled.

As a result I can't open the Commands either.

The only thing I can do is open the programs indirectly, using files that can be opened with the wanted program...

I don't know if anyone could help me out with this...maybe it's simple to solve but I don't see how...

I would apreciate any kind of help!

Right click on an exe file and then choose "Open With" Then 'Choose program', open it with Explorer and see if that launches it normally, I'm not at home so I can't test this theory, sorry.
 
What operating system are you running? You can download and exe fix but would need to know what OS you are running first.
