I'm trying to find a way to embed an .exe file on my website. The result i'm looking to is basically like having a .class file in a java applet. I need to get the same result but with an .exe file. Anyone know what to do?

what do you mean?
do you want the website to run the .exe file?

because the java applet runs the .class file if in not mistaken??

so do clarify

umm thats why i wanted a clarification?? if ur so smart you should be able to figure it out yourself

As far as i know, you cant have a .exe run in a page. The client would need to either need to click run or save.

And there is no need to get all angry when someone asks for clarification.

Because I cant think of any GOOD reason to use it that not used for bad things, and if it wasn't I dont see why you couldn't tell us instead of just anwsing witrh another question.

sorry all :P that wasn't me it was my brother, i told him to check the thread real quick to see if anyone responded for me, and well...you see what happens? stupid brother...*sigh* oh well, sorry. But yea i see what your saying.

Well regardless can someone tell me the best way to go about creating a .class file?

EDIT: xycron, there are plenty of good reasons for it. are you kidding me?

Thats Why I ASKED, because I wanted to know., I didn't assue of anything untill it the question was avoided.

The question was avoided because honestly, my brother 1) didn't want to take the time to answer the question that he 2) felt that had nothing to do with the aforementioned question and the basis of this thread and 3) felt it really wasn't any of your business, which are all perfectly viable reasons. If i must tell you why i need it in order for you to even answer my question i will and simply to end this pointless argument, i'll do it anyway. I need to figure this out for an mmorpg that includes a buying/selling system. I created an .exe file, that would allow you to calculate how much so many things were going to cost, and i wanted to make a "java applet" type thing with the .exe file, and thus, this thread was created...

I was just curois that's all, calm down, and now that you explained that it was your brother I understand that part(When i first posted you hadn't told us that :) )

sorry :P...lol but i still don't have an answer >.< anyone know if there is a way to convert an .exe to a .class file, or what's the best way to make a .class file?
