Expansion Slot trouble on Asus A7N8X-X Mobo

I recently got this motherboard and installed it, i correctly installed everything as per the manual, but when it came time to boot, the monitor didnt display anything, so i got the card out and put it in the old machine, and it worked, so im guessing theres a problem with this board with the expansion slots.

if anyone else had this problem, or anyone can help me fix the problem, please, HELP

or ur new mobo has an onboard graphics? or you didnt set it in bios like agp - pci or vice versa which ever to boot first.

theres no onboard gfx, and so i cant even get to the bios

use the card from ur other computer to go into bios.

its the same card being used on both computers, it works on one, but not the new one

1. Whats the video card you're trying to (originally) use? Have you tried an older card?
2. What's the PSU?
3. Make absolutely sure that the card is seated correctly? Is the RAM good? Is the RAM seated correctly? Ditto for the CPU
4. Does the LED on the mobo light up when you plug the power cable in (even without turning the computer on)
5. Do you get any beeps?
