expected performance

None of us have a build of this caliber, but it's superior. It'll run everything your throw at it smoothly.

Gaming in 4K gets more then 100FPS in almost every games. (3-way SLI Titan)

It will be easily overclockable. The cpu should get to 4.5ghz with the cooler, Im waiting for the same cooler :) as the 6 and 8 cores get pretty hot. The Titans overclock well also. Depending on the game especially if your interested in racing games and simulators it will be able to get you 60fps on the 3-4 4k screens you want as racing sims tend to require less power.

Really nice build though. Just try to get as much cool air in to give optimum airflow for those GPUs as they will get pretty hot. It might be worth researching temperatures Incase they need water cooling aswell.

Thanks, I'll be playing a bit of everything, WoW, simulators, Diablo III, Startcraft II, Crysis, ect. I'll look into cooling options for the GPU's.

That is a GODLY build to be sure, looks like something from a maximum PC dream machine article. I don't know that I will ever be able to justify spending 8k on a PC, but if you have the money, I envy you! :D

I envy your build. Funny how the world works. :P

Thanks :). I have been wanting to build a computer for some time. I'll probably run it stock and do some bench mark tests. Then build the water cooling system and overclock it to the max. Then tone it down some unless I need the extra tweek. I'll be buying parts over the next month and start the build mid May.

If your going to watercool the 900-950D is a great case. Keep the h110i for the cpu and build a setup for the gpus. The 900-950d fits a large 480 radiator in the bottom plenty big enough to cool the gpus. For max overclock might be worth re flashing their bios. If your set on your current case make sure everything will fit.

I was interested in the Titan x but they are only about 30ish percent faster than a 980. I'll be waiting for pascal which should be quite a few times faster than current gen before I next upgrade. Great build though, yours is probably the best here.
