Express Card for CF Memory! HELP

I'm going crazy looking for an Express Card that I can use on my laptop that is dedicated for CF memory cards.

The one I want is here http://www.lexar.com/readers/pro_eccf.html

but, it's not available and as you can see, the black part that sticks out is quite big!

Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any models, by any company that is slimmer/smaller?

I need it to be an ExpressCard and it has to be for CF obviously!

..and before people recommend me to just get a usb multi-card reader..I have one, they are slow!

I like the expresscard cause they are dedicated and fast for photographers using huge RAW files.

I'm just going nuts trying to find a slightly slimmer one!

HELP please!
 
I know back during the PCMCIA days it was pretty easy to come across CF-to-PCMCIA converted. Heck I have one in my closet somewhere. I'm thinking CF is almost a direct conversion to IDE... As for expresscard, I'm at a loss. I see some here and there on amazon and such but I really don't know much about them.

Hmm, just curious how much data you're trying to transfer at once. I do some pretty massive transfers using SD cards (HD camcorders, might start using RAW on my digicam) I usually just let my reader do it's thing and come back in a few minutes :P
 
Yeah, I see various cards around..its just the damn size of them..

but they are so much faster than a typical usb2.0 multi reader.

Lexar says 133MB/sec or 800x plus.

I'm already using Lexar Pro UDMA 600x cards but its a kick in the ass when you have to wait so long while you transfer.

I transfer various piles of RAW files, but often its 10GB or more.. and thats multiple times per week, so it gets annoying waiting for the USB device to putz through!! Video is the worst!..HD content takes sooo long!

I dont even use my 64GB udma as I might as well go to bed and come back hours later...for real!!!
