Extending Wireless Antenna

Hello,

We have a project that our company is working on, and I need some help/insight from you guys.

Please be aware that we are waiting on further information. Here is the information that we know:

  • We need to have Wi-Fi Access outdoors.

  • We will have a network room for any network equipment we need.


Would it be better to:
Have indoor WAPs with coax runs to the outdoor antennas?

OR

Have outdoor WAPs with PoE runs from the switch?

At the moment we don't have have any information on the distance from the network room to the area where the Wi-Fi is needed.

I'm open to ANY ideas that you guys have, as this project has become really convoluted.

Do you already have access to a PoE system? I would probably push for PoE WAPs outside if you already have the equipment to work off of.
 
Yes, PoE is going to be part of our setup.

I was favoring PoE WAPs anyways, but I just wanted to see if there were any other ideas out there.
