Extern HDD, which one to choose?

Hi all,

I really can't decide which brand of Extern HDD that I should buy. Can someone help me out here? There is a Western Digital and a Lacie. Which one is better and more reliable?

EDIT: Where should I be careful with when buying a Extern HDD?

I have the Elements/WD drive, only a 250GB version. 2nd link wouldn't load for me here (probably school network). But I'm pleased with the drive. About all I can say about external drives is be sure it's by a creditable brand with a decent warranty. Don't rely on a single backup method. External drives can fail just as easily as internal ones.
