extern usb drive

Hi everyone

I have a usbdrive of 500g. It works fine till yesterday. I had to reboot and now windows xp dont see him any more. I have try to use diferent programs like testdisk-6.1, Pci filerecovery, RecoverLostData. Nothing helps, I have also try to start my computer with windows xp cd and try format him again but that don't even work.
Please help me, i have a lot of music and films on it that i don't wanne lose.

well when you turn it on does it make noise? humm? or spin up? Do the reg light come on as usual?

Try going start>settings>Control panels>adminstrative tools>computer managemnt>Disk managment

Do you see your drive populted there? Does it say you have a problem?

Yes he is populted there, is there still something to do?
