Hi,
Prior to getting DSL, I used to have an external cable modem and that was connected to the same (suspicious) D-Link 2.4 GHz Wireless Broadband Router, then a CAT5 cable connects the routher to my computer. That worked fine. But when I switch over to Qwest DSL (external modem), when I go to the internet I get these random "The page cannot be displayed" messages. However, if I keep refreshing the page, it will eventually successfully display. The problem can occur at any website I go to, even a small page like google.
If I connect the external DSL modem directly into my computer, then this problem goes away, so the problem must be with the D-Link router.
I have two computers with different OS's (one is XP SP2, the other is Millenium), and the problem exists on both of them, so it must have nothing to do with the computers, but the router itself.
Any hints on what's happening here?
Thanks
