External hard drive help

Hi there , I am new to this forum and i have a question.

I spotted this HERE And thought it would make a great External hard drive for storing Movies/Songs on so i would not fill my laptop up with STUFF i did not need on there.

My question is do you think that will work good? what do you think i should do? I am running a HP G56-122 Laptop with windows 7 and i do a TON of music downloads and movie stuff!

Lets just say all you do is legal for the forums policies happiness, and yes that looks like a good deal.. as you might have read some of the comments, it only has USB2.0, if you do "a TON" then i would get an esata one, it will cost more, but transfer speeds will be much better!!. i mean if you have the need for 3TB, then go for it!!, the thing to look out for is the RPM, which in this case is good (7200) don't get anything less.. and its got a 3 year warranty, which is always good!
