External hard drive help

I bought an external enclosure, and when I hook it up to a computer, it reads it at a Hard Disk. Since the computer that im using it on doesnt allow access to hard disks, is there a way to make the computer see the external hard drive as "removable storage"?

Well...not really

As far as I know that is not possible. Every hardware device has a unique ID that identifies it. I do not see how you could fool a PC in any other way than being able to change the ID. I do not think that's possible anyway...so my final asnwer is that there is no way to do that.

I use it at school, they have a server for the students and teacher, they have the hard drive hidden and do not allow any access to hard disks, althought you can read from them, just not right.
